In this single-evening class, students will learn about Mohrakashi and create a painting using botanical motifs, focusing on drawing and painting techniques.
Mohrakashi is a fresco tradition indigenous to Punjab that gained prominence under the patronage of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 19th Century. The development of Mohrakashi through this period gave rise to the Sikh School of Art, with frescoes dominated by floral and foliage designs.
