Join us at PAMA for the opening reception of our summer exhibitions – Oh My Dog! and Kimutsik, on May 24th – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., remarks at 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments available.
Oh My Dog! This exhibition will showcase a selection of historical and contemporary works by diverse artists of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds who have focused on the dog as a symbol.
Kimutsik – Glenn Gear’s video projection Kimutsik (dog team) (2023) is the basis of the work presented across three outdoor banners at PAMA which depicts the dogs untethered, set free to run through public spaces both indoor and outdoor. Kimutsik is part of the 28th Contact Photography Festival.

PARKING INFO
Onsite parking
There is limited parking onsite. We have 3 barrier-free parking spaces. The parking lot is accessible from the lane way between the east and west buildings.
Free parking
There are many municipal parking garages within walking distance from PAMA, like Brampton City Hall and John Street. Both have one-hour free parking on weekdays and free parking on evenings after 7 p.m., weekends and holidays.
One-hour street parking is available on Wellington Street East, past Chapel Street.
Metered parking
There is metered parking in downtown Brampton.
The cost is $2.00 per hour. The maximum allowable parking time is 90 minutes. Payment is required from Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Bike parking
PAMA has a bike rack in the onsite parking lot.
